Dmitry V. Dvorkis,
people's deputy of Ukraine, the founder and the President of the charity fund "Nation Revival", was born on January 28, 1945 in Katta-Kurgan, Samarkand, Uzbek SSR.

Education:
Kiev Engineering Construction Institute, 1976; Construction Engineer.

Work Experience:
Dmitry V. Dvorkis worked in construction organizations of the Region and city, beginning as a construction worker, construction site manager, making a career of the Regional Association Manager. From 1980 to 1984 worked as the Head of Vinnitsa Construction "Ukrrembudtrest" Management, from 1984 to 1991 - the Head of specialized RPO "Ukrlift" Management. In 1991- 92 he was the General Manager of the "Vinnitsabudmaterial" Vinnitsa Regional Association.

From May 1992 - he was the Head of the Vinnitsa City Council.
From 1994 Dmitry Dvorkis was the first unanimously elected Mayor, in 1998 he was elected again.

In 1999 he was the Head of the Regional State Administration.

On November 23, 1999 there was an attempt for assossination of people's deputy, the Head of the City Dmitry V. Dvorkis during which his driver was killed.

Now Dmitry V. Dvorkis is the people's deputy of Ukraine.

Signs of Honour, Honour Names

1996 - was awarded by the order "For Services", Level III;
1996 - became "Mayor of Year" according to Republic mass-media public poll;
1997 - was awarded by honour sign "All-Ukrainian Jewish Congress";
1998 - laureate of award named by Volodimir (Zeev) Zhabotinsk "For International Understanding";
1998 - was awarded the name of Honourable Citizen of Vinnitsa;
1999 - was awarded by the Silver Order of "St. Duke Volodimir", Level II;
1999 - was awarded by the order "Honour to Motherland Loyalty", Level III, getting    the title "Holder of order - the "Caval Honour to Motherland Loyalty";
1999 - was awarded by the medal "For Civil Courage".
